Purple Walk Wed 14 March
Our 11th annual Purple Walk took place at Innes Common, featuring our Most Creative Team Competition as well as Best Dressed Dog.
The weather was fantastic, the Purple Theme was well-subscribed, and the conversation developed around endometriosis and it's wide impacts.

There are a wide variety of topics and guest speakers throughout the year.
Our free monthly seminars are part of our Education programme, providing information to empower decision-making
Tea/coffee/milo provided. A plate and/or gold coin donation would be appreciated. Partners, friends, parents and health professionals all welcome. Look out for our signs at the entrance of our carpark

Pain Management is more than just pain meds! Tonight we'll look at:
- what endometriosis is and how it causes pain
- the different types of pain and how to distinguish between them
- the types of pain medications that can help for each cause
- how to take your pain medicines to be most effective and cause the least side effects
- an holistic approach to pain management
- what lifestyle changes can help with pain management
- what support is available
Community Support - Meet others who understand
Support people such as friends and family are very welcome.
Our Midweek group runs the first Thursday of every month at different cafes around Hamilton. This group is co-ordinated by Hayley and Nisha.
We also run a Saturday group in Hamilton.
Please make contact if you'd to set up a group in your area or in school or tertiary campus. We will provide full training, support and resources to boost your confidence to run a successful group. All you need are good listening skills and the time to run a monthly meeting.

Venue this month: The Bank for lunch!
This month the group is meeting for a lunch on Thursday 5 April at The Bank on Victoria Street in Hamilton.
If you work in town, you can make it along, and if you don't work in town it will be a nice outing :).
The bank have $12 lunches available.
