About the Event

Connecting with Other and Your Mental Wellbeing

There are all sorts of ways to help us cope in difficult times, and connecting with people is one way. The past couple of years have been tough and it’s easy to feel disconnected from the people and places that are important to us. It can also be challenging for people with chronic conditions, like endometriosis, to feel connected to others that do not have endometriosis and understand or emphathise with what you are going through.

We will be talking about how to have a safe and supportive kōrero with the people in our lives about endometriosis, our symptoms, and experiences as well as ways to look after our mental wellbeing during our endometriosis journey.

Whether you suspect you have endometriosis or any of these other conditions, are newly diagnosed, or have been living endometriosis for a while this evening chat will be great for you at any stage of your journey. Or you could have someone in your life who suspects they have endometriosis, or is recently diagnosed and you want to learn more about symptoms and how to support them.

There will be an opportunity to have your questions answered, even if these aren't related to the topic of treatment options.

This FREE event is part of our Community Support services, providing information to empower decision-making. Partners, friends, parents, and health professionals are all welcome.
