Translations Team Leader
Purpose of the role:
The Translations Team Leader oversees the Translator Proofreader volunteers:

assigning proofreading projects to the volunteers and following up on completion of project work

providing support to volunteers using Canva to make edits of translated work
-
coordinates project work for volunteers translating material into other languages
-
works with the Volunteer Development Manager to recruit proofreaders and translators
The Translations Team Leader also oversees the Translations Website Administrator to ensure proofread material is uploaded to our website, making it accessible to people.
Expected hours:
To fit in with personal commitments, 30-60 minutes a week ensuring contact with volunteers to coordinate their work

Remote with hours to be completed across the month
Translations Website Administrator
Purpose of the role:
The Translations Website Administrator ensures that our website is accessible, accurate and up to date by:

using Canva to translate the content of our Info Hub webpage

creating new templated Info Hub webpages for different languages on Wix
-
uploading translated content to relevant language webpage
Expected hours:
To fit in with personal commitments, 1-3 hours per language, with 2-3 languages to be worked on per month

Remote with hours to be completed across the month
Translator Proofreader
Purpose of the role:
Insight Endometriosis Translator Proofreader works independently to proofread translated written material, such as our brochure about endometriosis and information guides to overcome language and cultural barriers with written information

Service Navigator
Purpose of the role:
To help people find the support they need within our service and beyond. The first point of call to ascertain the type of help people need and refer them into further modes of support - within our service or to other organisations as required.
Expected hours:
Anticipate 2 hours a week depending on the number of contact forms received and sharing of workload between other Service Navigators.
Locations:
Remote with hours to be completed as and when needed by Service Users and at time-of-day Service Users have requested to be contacted.
Support Volunteer
Purpose of the role:
Through their lived experience Support Volunteers can provide specialist support and/or information to Service Users – for example fertility treatments, young people, gender diverse. Referrals are made by Service Navigators who triage and assess needs, and may suggest this service to individuals who would benefit from this unique support.
Expected hours:
1-2 hours a week depending on the number of contact forms received and requirements of Service Users.
Locations:
Remote with hours to be completed as and when needed by Service Users and at time-of-day Service Users have requested to be contacted
Printed Distribution Team Leader
Purpose of the role:
The Printed Distribution Team Leader oversees the Printed Information Deliverer Volunteers, that are based nationwide, to ensure that printed information about endometriosis and the services of Insight Endometriosis is delivered to relevant and appropriate places.

To fit in with personal commitments, 1-2 hours a week ensuring contact with volunteers to coordinate their work.
Locations:
Remote with hours to be completed across the month.
Digital Distribution Team Leader
Purpose of the role:
The Digital Distribution Team Leader ensures we have an up-to-date nationwide list of health professionals. This list enables Insight Endometriosis to have routine email contact with practices/medical centres as well as providing a database of support services useful for those with endometriosis. The Digital Distribution Team Leader:

oversees our Contact Callers

To fit in with personal commitments, 1-2 hours a week ensuring contact with volunteers to coordinate their work
Locations:
Remote with hours to be completed across the month
Brochure/Poster Delivery
Purpose of the role:
The Printed Information Deliverer works independently to distribute our posters, brochures and other printed material.
Expected hours:
To fit with personal commitments, ensuring regular contact with the Printed Distribution Team Leader regarding progress, and also working within needed time frames (usually 1-2 weeks)

Various throughout NZ
Contact Caller
Purpose of the role:
The Contact Caller makes contact with health professionals and/or practices/medical centres by phone to ensure Insight Endometriosis has contact details for health professionals nationwide that have an interest in endometriosis and/or our services and then update the Monday.com workboard with this contact information
Expected hours:
1 hour a week depending on the number of health professionals and/or practices/medical centres that need to be contacted
Locations:
Remote with phone calls to be made during health professionals and practices/medical centres work hours
Sponsorship & Raffle Coordinator
Purpose of the role:
Source sponsors and raffle prize donations from businesses, community groups, and aligned individuals for event fundraisers.
Expected hours:
Approximately 2–4 hours per week and preferably during business hours to enable connecting with people.
Locations:
This is a remote role and can be completed from home. Local volunteers (Waikato-based) are especially encouraged to apply, but we welcome interest from across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Expo Ambassador
Purpose of the role:
Expo Ambassadors hold a key role representing our organisation and provide information about endometriosis by engaging positively with the public.
Expected hours:
A shift of 3 hours for each expo and a 1.5 hour training at commencement and every 2-3 years as required. The volunteer should be able to help with at least one expo a year.
