Trustee 

Purpose of the role:

  • To hold the vision of Insight Endometriosis, and work with Board and staff to review and achieve the Mission, Goals, Objectives and Strategic Plan.

  • To develop and maintain governance policies that support the work of the Board and oversee the operational policies which support the work of the charity.  

  • To support the Chair in ensuring Insight Endometriosis has good governance.  

  • To monitor the progress of staff in achieving strategic objectives, and to provide support and guidance as appropriate.  

  • To approve and monitor the annual budget.

  • To assess and monitor organisational and strategic risks. 

Expected hours:

  • Core monthly 1-hour lunchtime meetings by zoom, plus preparation time

  • Periodic meetings on strategic topics

  • Other tasks agreed to at meetings (typically related to field of expertise)

Expo Ambassador

Purpose of the role:

Expo Ambassadors hold a key role representing our organisation and provide information about endometriosis by engaging positively with the public. 

Expected hours:

​A shift of 3 hours for each expo and a 1.5 hour training at commencement and every 2-3 years as required. The volunteer should be able to help with at least one expo a year.

Locations:

  • Annual Waikato Show (Fri-Sun first weekend in April at Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton)

  • Womens Lifestyle Expo Hamilton

  • Womens Lifestyle Expo BOP

  • Any other opportunities that may arise

Expo Ambassador Team Leader

Purpose of the role:

The Expo Ambassador Team Leader coordinates the work of the Expo Ambassadors, ensuring that there is a filled roster of people at expos and that Ambassadors are well-trained to support their role

​To fit with personal commitments.

Locations:

Remote

Health Professionals List Administrator

Purpose of the role:

This administration role is to update a contact spreadsheet of GP's, Gynaecologists and Allied Health Professionals in the regional area that you reside in. 

Expected hours:

​To fit with personal commitments, completing the spreadsheet within 4 weeks of accepting the role.

Locations:

Remote and per regional area through Aotearoa New Zealand

Brochure/Poster Delivery

Purpose of the role:

The Poster Deliverer works independently to distribte our posters, brochures and other printed material.

Expected hours:

​To fit with personal commitments, ensuring regular contact with the Poster Team Leader regarding progress, and also working within needed time frames (usually 1-2 weeks)

 

Locations:

Various throughout the Waikato

Document Translator Proofreader

Purpose of the role:

Insight Endometriosis Translation Proofreader works independently to proofread translated written material, such as our brochure about endometriosis and information guides to overcome language and cultural barriers with written information

Expected hours:

​To fit with personal commitments.

Locations:

Remote
